Research Progress of Insurance Technology:Connotation,Motivation and Effect

保险科技的蓬勃发展正深刻改变着保险业的竞争格局,对未来金融业与经济的发展也将产生深远影响。本文在梳理保险科技相关文献研究脉络和最新进展的基础上,从“创新公司论”“新兴技术论”以及“创新总和论”三个方面对保险科技的内涵进行归纳,并从互联网保险、保险科技赋能全价值链以及保险生态圈的建立总结保险科技发展的三个重要阶段。接下来,阐述了影响保险科技发展的五大因素,包括国家文化、人口结构、保险消费者互动频率、监管环境等;最后,从保险业、保险公司、保险消费者等方面梳理了保险科技发展的经济效应,并对保险科技未来的研究方向进行了展望。

The vigorous development of insurance technology is profoundly changing the competitive landscape and ecology of the insurance industry,and it will have a profound impact on the future growth and development of the financial industry and the economy.On the basis of combing the literature and new developments of insurTech-related research,this paper summarizes the connotation of insurTech from three aspects:"innovative company theory","emerging technology theory"and"innovation sum theory",and summarizes three important stages of insurTech development from internet insurance,insurTech enabling the whole value chain and establishment of insurance ecosystem.He also summarizes the three important stages of the development of insurance technology from the perspective of Internet insurance,insurance technology enabling the whole value chain and the establishment of insurance ecosystem.Next,five major factors influencing the development of insurance technology are described,including national culture,demographic structure,frequency of insurance consumer interaction,and regulatory environment;finally,the economic effects of insurance technology development are sorted out from the insurance industry,insurance companies,and insurance consumers,and the future research directions of insurance technology are outlined.
