鲁迅翻译伦理观探析

An Exploration into Lu Xun’s Translation Ethics

目前有关鲁迅翻译思想和实践的研究成果较为丰硕,却鲜有研究涉及其翻译伦理思想,一是因为"翻译伦理"是20世纪80年代才提出的概念,二是鲁迅似乎很少明确地提出类似翻译理论的观点或主张。事实上,他在33年的翻译活动中,在思想或原则上信守正义、诚信、忠实和责任等译者职责或伦理,在实践中身体力行,具体表现在:关注弱小民族的文化,强调民族利益至上,满足社会政治需要,诚于自己的外语能力,忠实于作者、原文和译文读者,开启民智,积极传播异域文化。基于国内外翻译伦理研究的最新成果,考察鲁迅秉承并践行的这些翻译伦理观,以其言观其行,以其行证其言,以便更加全面、深入地进行有关鲁迅的翻译家研究,并丰富翻译伦理的个案研究。

Studies on Lu Xun’s translation theory and practice and in the Chinese academic circle are abundant,but fewhave touched upon his translation ethics.This is,perhaps,because"translation ethics"was a newconcept proposed in the 1980 s,and Lu Xun seemed to seldom express his viewpoint on similar topics like translation ethics.As a matter of fact,in his 33 years of translation activities,Lu Xun practiced what he preached such translator’s ethics as justice,honesty,faithfulness and responsibility.Specifically,he paid attention to the culture of the weak and small nations,emphasized the supremacy of national interests,met the social and political needs.Being honest with his foreign language ability,faithful to the original author,source text and the target readers,he enlightened people and disseminated foreign culture in China.The findings of this study may help to conduct more comprehensive and in-depth studies on Lu Xun as a translator and enrich studies on translation ethics.
