摘要
美国恐怖电影的特定主题和形式在一定程度上将社会的隐性症候外化为银幕上的可怖现实,通过鬼怪恐怖片、边境恐怖片、经济恐怖片、鬼屋恐怖片、家庭入侵恐怖片、伪纪录恐怖片、桌面恐怖片等不同的表现形式,以极端方式映射了当代美国的社会思潮,发掘社会中的政治经济压力与文化上的矛盾冲突,探析相关的创伤性记忆,捕捉现实社会中的噩梦,同时也喻示边缘人群和被剥夺者遭受的身心侵害,发挥社会警示与批判功能。
The specific themes and forms of American horror films externalize the hidden symptoms of society into the terrible reality on the screen to a certain extent.Through different forms of expression,such as ghost horror films,border horror films,haunted-house horror films,economic horror films,family-invasion horror films,mockumentary horror films,desktop horror films and so forth,they mirrored main social thoughts in the contemporary America in an extreme way.In addition,such films unearth the political,economic pressure and cultural conflicts,analyze related traumatic memories,capture nightmares in the real society.In the meanwhile,these films also depict physical and mental violations suffered by the marginalized and dispossessed people,playing as the function of social warning and criticism.
