工业遗产“体验经济”设计策略探析——以旧金山吉拉德里巧克力工厂为例

The Design Strategy of San Francisco Griardley Chocolate Factory Based on“Experience Economy”Theory

废弃的工业用地不仅影响城市整体风貌,还造成了土地资源的闲置与浪费。全球范围内的废弃工厂在此背景下面临改建。如何重新激活产业类历史建筑的活力,达到“新需求、旧保护”的目标成为当前亟待解决的问题之一。本文从工业遗产更新的概念与模式出发,分析和归纳了旧金山吉拉德里巧克力工厂在“体验经济”理论指导下的设计策略,从“人-事-物-场-境”探究“空间性-教育性-娱乐性-审美性-逃避性”的设计策略。在此基础上提出体验经济导向下的设计模式是一种重要的产业更新策略,借此为工业遗产建筑的活化提供新的思路。

Abandoned industrial land not only affects the overall appearance of the city,but also causes idle and waste of land resources.In this context,abandoned factories around the world are facing reconstruction.How to reactivate the vitality of industrial historical buildings and achieve the goal of“new demand,old protection”has become one of the problems to be solved.Starting from the concept and mode of industrial heritage renewal,this paper analyzes and summarizes the design strategy of San Francisco Girardley Chocolate Factory under the guidance of“experience economy”theory,and explores the design strategy of“space,education,entertainment,aesthetics,avoidance”from the perspective of“people,things,field,environment”.On this basis,it is proposed that the experience economy oriented design mode is an important industrial renewal strategy,which can provide new ideas for the activation of industrial heritage buildings.
