以近70年来中俄(苏)外交关系中标志性政治事件与里程碑文件为主线,梳理两国体育交往的历史阶段,反思其历程主要表现为:(1)因中国体育发展基础较弱呈现出单一的苏联援助与指导中国体育为主要特征的“蜜月阶段”;(2)因中苏关系“恶化”呈现出官方体育交往滞后于民间体育交往为主要特征的“恶化阶段”;(3)因中国体育取得的辉煌成就呈现出中苏体育真正意义“交往”为主要特征的“回暖阶段”;(4)因中俄建立战略合作伙伴关系呈现出官方、民间及元首体育交往为主要特征的“重启阶段”;(5)因中俄确立全面战略协作伙伴关系呈现出中俄体育合作共赢交往为主要特征的“深化阶段”,这一演进过程映射出中国体育不断成长壮大的历程,在相当程度上指引了中国对外体育工作迈向新征程。
