Construction Optimization of Nodular Cast Iron Pipes for Municipal Water Supply

Due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance,ductile iron pipes are widely used in municipal water supply projects.Based on introduction of ductile iron pipeline construction process,the paper points out the current common construction difficulties,and proposes new technical measures such as use of terminal piers,new pipeline pressure testing techniques and valve pressure testing to improve construction quality and construction efficiency,and reduce waste resources and improve water pipeline environment.
