Small Is Beautiful:Chinese Tea in Modern Evolution

日前,农业农村部、国家市场监督管理总局、中华全国供销合作总社联合印发《关于促进茶产业健康发展的指导意见》。《指导意见》,鼓舞人心的同时,也对每一个做茶人提出了新时代发展新要求。本期特别报道《中国茶"小而美"的现代化之路》,尝试用"小而美"的视角切入,展望茶产业健康发展的未来。我们从国内首部以龙井文化为背景的电影《龙井》的诞生过程中,感受茶文化的创新传承与传播;从中国茶的国际形象打造中,感知讲好中国茶故事的时代意义;从甘肃省唯一的产茶区陇南的茶旅探索中,感悟"旅游+茶产业"的发展后劲。

The Special Coverage in this issue examines the future of the tea industry by looking at the concept that"Small is Beautiful".The concept and practice aim to boost the sound and solid grow th of the tea industr y and enhance the modernization of the industrial supply chain.Looking forward to the future,we review Dragon Well,the first feature film of its kind in China that portrays the culture and tradition of the Dragon Well tea in Hangzhou.This film can be considered an effor t to blaze new trails in promoting tea culture and tradition.The report presents an understanding of how to promote Chinese tea to the world and of the modern significance of convincingly relating the stories of Chinese tea to the world.The Special Coverage in this issue also features Longnan,the only tea production area in China’s northwest Gansu Province,where local tea plantations promote tourism and how this integration brings about strong growth.
