The 2021 Israel-Palestine Crisis has attracted worldwide attention rapidly since it broke out in May.After the outbreak,countries around the globe,driven by moral principles,appealed to both sides to reach a ceasefire agreement through negotiations as soon as possible,so as to avoid excessive bloodshed.However,during this process,the United States chose to stand against the world,not only vetoing the ceasefire draft in the UN several times,but also continuing to approve the$735 million arms sale to Israel at a time when the crisis had already caused heavy casualties.In fact,such a move made by the U.S.is only a microcosm of its policy of favoritism toward Israel,and the major driving force behind the policy is the pro-Israel lobby group which is an indispensable part of the U.S.domestic politics.Constituted mainly by Jewish Americans,the pro-Israel lobby group is a political organization that has long been committed to ensuring that the U.S.foreign policy is beneficial for the national interests of Israel.The group often plays an important role when the U.S.is engaged in Israeli–Palestinian conflict,and its existence is the main reason why the U.S.cannot be just and objective in dealing with contradictions between the two countries.
