一草一木亦通灵传奇《花间》写至情——司马章的聊斋戏改编

《花间乐》传奇,为清江宁司马章所作《种石山房二种曲》之一,其创作本于司马章本人与青楼校书周麟官为家庭阻隔而未偕之恋情,系作者自喻写心、抒发怀抱之作。剧本现存清乾隆五十七年(1792年)种石山房刊本,见收于《绥中吴氏藏抄本稿本戏曲丛刊》。全剧二十出,故事情节系据《聊斋志异》之《香玉》《绛妃》,间采《博异记·崔玄微》等篇融合改编。在“谪世”叙事框架下,经矛盾冲突的强化、情节描写的展开、紧扣演出的设计等调整改编,司马章完成了故事由案头到场上的转换。

The legend of Amusement Among Flowers is one of Two Songs for Zhongshishan House composed by Sima Zhang in Jiangning,during the Qing dynasty.The composition is based on Sima Zhang's relationship with Zhou Linguan,the secretary of a brothel,and which was hindered by his family.The work is autobiographical in its essence,as its author put in it his heart and feelings.The manuscript was published in the edition of the Zhongshishan House in the 57th year of the reign of the Qing Emperor Qianlong(1792),and collected in the Book of Handwritten Copies of Drama Compositions by the Wu Family in Central Liaoning Province.Twenty episodes compose the whole play,whose plot is based on a synthesis of Fragrant Jade and Jiang Fei the Flower Fairy,both drawn from Strange Tales from a Scholar's Studio.Under the narrative framework of"being banished from the world",Sima Zhang completed the transformation of the story from book to drama through the strengthening of contradictions and conflicts,the expansion of plot descriptions,and by putting emphasis on performance.
