Insisting the unification of indoctrination and inspiration is both basic followand to promote reform and innovation of ideological and political courses in the new era and important methodology to improve the teaching quality and level of ideological and political courses.This paper will analyze the value implication of insisting on the unification of indoctrination and inspiration in ideological and political courses from three aspects:The essence of ideological and political education and the position and value of ideological and political courses determine the dominant position of indoctrination;The purpose of ideological and political education and the law of education determine the inherent necessity of inspiration;Insist on the unification of indoctrination and inspiration,and pursue the effectiveness of ideological and political courses in their collaborative promotion.
