According to ANSI B92.1b-1996 involute spline standard,this paper introduces the basic parameters calculation of double diametral pitch involute spline with 30°pressure angle and flat root side fit commonly used in hydraulic component design.Through a series of formula derivation,the calculation principle of spline fit backlash and dimension over two pins is obtained.The design method of the spline dimension over two pins can be determined when the design requirements of the spline backlash are known.
