Efficacy of myo-inositol in the treatment of infertile men: a Meta-analysis

摘要 目的评价补充肌醇(MI)治疗不育男性的有效性。方法检索PubMed、the Cochrane Library、Embase、中国知网(CNKI)数据库,检索时间范围为建库至2021年1月。纳入关于补充MI治疗不育男性的临床实验文献,严格筛选文献、提取资料后,采用RevMan 5.4软件对文献进行质量评价和Meta分析。结果纳入9篇临床实验文献,共1 005例患者,MI治疗能提高不育男性的精子浓度[OR(95%CI):4.29(2.34~6.24)]、精子总数[OR(95%CI):9.08(0.66~17.49)]、精子活力[OR(95%CI):8.11(4.96~11.27)]和精子正常形态率[OR(95%CI):4.09(2.23~5.95)],并提高临床妊娠率[OR(95%CI):5.39(1.88~15.45)],但对生殖激素无显著影响(P>0.05)。结论补充MI可以改善不育男性的精子质量和临床结局,对生殖激素无显著影响,但补充MI治疗不育男性的临床价值尚需更大规模的前瞻性随机对照实验进一步验证。 Objective To evaluate the efficacy of myo-inositol supplementation in the treatment of infertile men. Methods PubMed, the Cochrane Library, Embase and CNKI databases were searched from the establishment of the databases to January 2021. Clinical trial literature on MI supplementation for infertile men was included. After strict literature screening and data extraction, RevMan 5.4 software was used for literature quality evaluation and Meta analysis. Results Nine clinical trials were included, involving 1 005 patients. MI treatment can improve sperm concentration [OR(95%CI):4.29(2.34-6.24)], sperm total number [OR(95%CI):9.08(0.66-17.49)], sperm motility [OR(95%CI):8.11(4.96-11.27)] and normal sperm morphology rate [OR(95%CI):4.09(2.23-5.95)] and increased the clinical pregnancy rate [OR(95%CI):5.39(1.88-15.45)], but had no significant effect on reproductive hormones(P>0.05). Conclusions MI supplementation can improve sperm quality and clinical outcome of infertile men, but has no significant effect on reproductive hormones, but the clinical value of MI supplementation in the treatment of infertile men needs to be further verified by larger prospective randomized controlled trials.
