This paper sorts out the historical development law of wushu(martial arts)short weapon through methods such as literature review and expert interview,and elaborates on the historical origin of short weapon in the 20 th century,as well as its development in the 21 st century,so as to make the development context of competitive wushu more clearly displayed,contribute a modest force to the historical research of competitive wushu and its development.
