摘要
本文主要根据历史文献资料,研究《中俄勘分西北界约记》"人随地归"条款订立过程及其原因,分析沙俄代表在议定该条款时的主要策略,探讨新界西边的边民愿意臣属清王朝的原因,并提出自己的看法。
Based on historical documents,this paper studies the process and causes of the establishment of the clause of"defining people’s nationality according to where they live"in Zhong-E Kanfen Xibei Jieyue Ji(Tacheng Protocol on the Delimitation of Sino-Russian Boundary),analyzes the main strategies of the representatives of Tsarist Russia in the negotiation of the clause,discusses the reasons why the border people in the west of the new boundary were willing to subordinate to the Qing Dynasty,and puts forward the author’s own views.
