摘要
科学的文化研究试图为科学提供一种合法化的辩护,从而回答如下问题:科学为什么是值得欲求的?知识的表象概念要求科学具有整体的认知意义,但科学对客观内容的揭示依赖于世界作为被表征者的假设。科学的社会研究试图回到行动者的实践理解科学行为,但仍然以刻板的划界固化实践的属性和成分。科学的合法化辩护因而将科学塑造为种种致力于实现其目标的进步过程。劳斯试图以时间性为主题重新诠释科学的文化形式,以此反对科学的进步主义叙事,但这种专注动态的文化研究必须再次考虑科学自身的意义问题。
The cultural study of science tries to provide a legitimate defense for science,and to answer the following questions:Why is science worth pursuing?The representational concept of knowledge requires science to have unified cognitive meaning.But science’s revelation of objective content depends on the world assumption that is represented.The social study of science attempts to return to the practice of actors to understand scientific conduct,but it still interprets the attributes and components of practice with rigid demarcation.The legitimate defense of science thus shapes science as a progressive process dedicated to its goals.Rouse reinterprets the cultural forms of science with the theme of timeliness,but this kind of cultural study must reconsider the meaning of science itself.
