Experience of chief physician XIE Like in treating retinal artery occlusion

视网膜动脉阻塞(RAO)是眼科急症之一,易引起视功能的永久损害,需尽早治疗。西医目前对此病暂无标准治疗方案,谢立科主任医师根据中医病因病机提出"通窍明目法"治疗证属气滞血瘀型的RAO,在此治则下确定了包括通窍活血明目方、针刺、中药静脉注射、前房穿刺、吸氧、肌肉注射腺苷钴胺的综合治疗方案,在临床中取得较好的疗效。

Retinal artery occlusion(RAO) is one of the ophthalmic emergencies,which is easy to cause permanent damage of visual function and needs early treatment. At present,there is no standard treatment plan for this disease in Western medicine. According to the pathogenesis of traditional Chinese medicine,Chief Physician XIE Like put forward the “Tongqiao Mingmu method” to treat the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type of RAO. Under this rule,the comprehensive treatment plan including Tongqiao Huoxue Mingmu Formulation,acupuncture,intravenous injection of traditional Chinese medicine,anterior chamber puncture,oxygen inhalation,intramuscular injection of adenosine cobalamin was determined,and good clinical results were obtained.
