摘要
声音文化研究旨在针对社会文本和文学文本中的各种声音做出文化政治阐释,既观照文本中各种声音的生产过程,也涉及听者对不同声音的感知、领悟和体验。文本中往往交织着作为现象以及作为编码的声音,包括来自大自然的天籁之声、人类制造的生活之音、人类发出的言说之声、人类创造的美学之声以及复制与编辑后的声音等,这些纷繁的声音景观从多角度记录并反映了人类的生存状况。从情感、文化和政治三个维度研究各种声音实践和听的行为,可以审视种族、阶级、性别等文化研究的核心命题,从文化政治的视角理解声音背后的人类经验、文化特质和文学表征。
Sound culture studies aims to interpret various sounds in social and literary texts from the perspective of cultural politics.It focuses both on the production process of these sounds and on the perception,understanding and experiences of these sounds on the part of the listener.The varied soundscape,including phenomenological as well as coded sounds—sounds from nature,sounds from human lives,human voices,aesthetic sounds,and the duplicated and edited sounds,records and reflects human existence from many aspects.Studies of all kinds of sound practices and listening behavior from the tripartite dimension of affect,culture and politics will examine such key issues in culture studies as race/ethnicity,class and gender,thus gaining an insight into the human experiences,the cultural features and the literary representations that sound embodies.
