基于内容分析的美国大学图书馆数字人文馆员职责研究

Research on Duties of Digital Humanities Librarian in American University Library Based on Content Analysis

本文选取39所美国大学图书馆数字人文中心的113位数字人文馆员岗位责任描述文本为研究对象,利用TF-IDF算法和K-means聚类法对数字人文馆员的岗位、责任、角色定位等进行分析,发现美国大学图书馆数字人文馆员大致呈现两类责任组群:一类负责数字人文中心的整体协调及项目管理;另一类负责数字技术层面的服务及教学。通过研究美国数字人文馆员职责特征,发掘其实践模式的参考价值,将有助于推进我国大学图书馆数字人文馆员队伍的建设。

This paper selects the position responsibility descriptive texts of 113 digital humanities librarians in 39 digital humanities centers of American university libraries as research objects,uses TF-IDF algorithm and K-means clustering method to analyze the position,responsibility,role orientation of digital humanities librarians,it is found that digital humanities librarians in American university libraries roughly present two types of responsibility clusters:one is responsible for the overall coordination and project management of digital humanities centers;the other is responsible for services and teaching at the digital technology level.By studying the characteristics of American digital humanities librarians’responsibilities and discovering the reference value of their practice model,it will help build the digital humanities librarian team in China’s university libraries.
