韩达对当代中国教育史学事业的贡献

Han Da’s Contribution to the Cause of Contemporary Chinese Educational Historiography

韩达早年参加革命,在中国革命、建设和改革开放的各个阶段始终从事教育理论研究和实践工作。他在中央教育科学研究所(现中国教育科学研究院)工作期间以及离休后,推动教育史研究从“文革”后的极“左”思潮中恢复发展,策划组织一系列中国教育史研究成果出版,主编出版中国少数民族教育史研究专著,推动对包括孔子在内的教育历史人物的科学评价,牵头筹建中华孔子研究所(现中华孔子学会)等,对中国教育史学科的研究创新发展起到了积极的推动作用。他忠诚党的教育事业、坚持真理、不计得失,甘为人梯的风范,为后辈学人树立了做人为学的榜样。

Han Da joined the revolution in his early years and has been engaged in educational theory and practice in all stages of China's revolution,construction and reform and opening-up.During his work at the Central Institute of Education Sciences(now National Institute of Education Sciences)and after his retirement,he promoted the recovery of educational history research from the ultra-leftist trend after the Cultural Revolution,planned and organized the publication of a series of research results on the history of education in China,edited and published monographs on the history of education for ethnic minorities in China,promoted the scientific evaluation of educational figures,including Confucius,and led the preparation of Chinese Confucius Institute(now the Chinese Confucian Academy).He has contributed to the innovative development of the discipline and research of educational history in China.His loyalty to the educational cause of the Communist Party of China,his insistence on the truth,and his willingness to serve as a ladder for others have set an example for future generations of scholars to follow.
