Dance performance is a visual and auditory enjoyment.Performers can shape character images through costume,dance arrangements and movements,show the charm of dance for the audience and give full play to the artistic value of dance works.Dance costume is a very important part for performers to shape their character images.Only by effectively using dance costume can we enrich the creation and performance of dance works.This paper mainly analyzes the significance of dance costume in shaping the character image,and puts forward the corresponding application strategies.
