Self-revolution of the Communist Party of China:Theoretical Logic,Century-old History and Fundamental Experience

党的自我革命是开展社会革命的前提和手段,社会革命是自我革命的目的和方向。协同推进党的自我革命和社会革命是马克思主义政党的根本要求,是中国共产党建党百年历程的经验结晶,是解决新时代党的建设现实问题的需要,也是推进“四个伟大”的迫切需要。坚强有力的中国共产党是靠自我革命锻造出来的,党的百年历史同时也是一部党的自我革命史。在新时代下,推进党的自我革命要做到不忘初心、牢记使命,革故鼎新、守正出新,刀刃向内、刮骨疗毒,更好地保持党的先进性和纯洁性,把党建设得更加坚强有力。

The party’s self-revolution is the premise as well as a means of social revolution while social revolution is the purpose and direction of self-revolution.It is a fundamental requirement to advance with one accord the party’s self-revolution and social revolution,an accumulative experience with the CPC’s party building in the last one hundred years,a call for addressing the real problems of the new era in this regard,and an urgent demand for advancing the“four greats”.A strong and powerful Communist Party of China is forged by self-revolution and its one hundred years of history is also one of its self-revolution.In the new era,to carry forward the Party’s self-revolution,we must stay true to our original aspiration and founding mission,carry out reformation and innovation,be brave enough to do surgery on itself in order to remove whatever undermines the Party’s purity and advanced nature,and build the Party into a stronger one.
