Virtual assessment is an important means widely used in product development stage.This paper describes the key items that need special attention during virtual assessment of the vehicle process development,including the assessment description of single part product design,multi part clearance fit,manufacturing resources and human-computer feasibility.Through the application of specific cases,it shows that the combination of virtual assessment and vehicle process development can promote new vehicle development smoothly.
