A Review of Mr. Fang Ming’s Collected Works of Studies on Confucius and Confucian Culture

方铭先生所著《孔子暨儒学文化研究文集》分为三个部分:上编是道与道统问题研究,中编是经学与文学问题研究,下编是思想史与文化问题研究。方铭先生的研究重视历史的复原和出土文献的利用,正本清源,推阐幽微,以期接续传统,开出新的学术风气,这既体现了他作为一名学术研究者的远见卓识,又体现了他作为一名人文学者的责任感和使命担当。

Collected Works of Studies on Confucius and Confucian Culturae written by Mr.Fang Ming are divided into three parts:the first part is the study of Taoism and Taoism inheritance,the second part is the study of Confucian classics and literature,and the third part is the study of ideological history and cultural issues.Mr.Fang Ming’s research attaches importance to the restoration of history and the use of unearthed documents,and clarifies the source,elaborates the details in order to carry on the tradition and create a new academic atmosphere.This not only reflects his foresight and insight as an academic researcher,but also reflects his responsibility and mission as a humaanist.
