中西方古典园林中理水方式的比较

Comparison of Waterscape Design Methods in Chinese and Western Classical Gardens

水乃生命之源,一直为古今中外的造园家所青睐,无论园林的地域、规模、风格如何不同,水在其中都有着举足轻重的作用。由于地理气候、思想观念、哲学基础的差异,中西方古典园林在理水方式上也有很大的不同。本文以拙政园与埃斯特庄园为例,分析比较了中西方古典园林水体布局、形态以及意趣表达中的差异,为中国园林理水的持续发展提供理论基础。

Water is the source of life and has been favored by gardeners all over the world since the ancient times.No matter how different the gardens are in region,scale or style,they all have a special preference for the creation of waterscape,and water plays an important role in them.Due to the differences in geography,climate,ideas and philosophical basis,the way of water design in Chinese and Western classical gardens are also different.This paper takes Humble Administrators’Garden and Villa D’Este as an example,analyzes and compares the differences in the water layout,form and interest expression of Chinese and Western classical gardens,so as to provide a theoretical basis for the sustainable development of waterscape design in Chinese gardens.
