The historical law,thought,experience,and enlightenment of pear in the development of monographs on Materia Medica were summarized.The historical development track of pear in the monographs was clarified according to the materia medica works related to pears,the distribution,character,and medicinal value of pears.The distribution and character of pears used as medicine were summarized.The re-understanding of the medicinal value of pear and its transformation to clinical treatment were strengthened.
