Living and Separation: The Narrative Transformation of Taiwan Female Novels in the Mid-20th Century

身份认同、差异理论和承认的政治等研究在当今学术界仍然是一个热点问题。二十世纪五六十年代台湾女性小说关于民族叙事与文化身份认同的书写主要有两个重要面向:一是1950年代重塑家园图景的“怀乡文学”书写;二是1960年代转向无根、漂泊审美主题的“留学生文学”创作。这些关于个人和利比多趋力的文本,以民族寓言的形式折射出急剧动荡的国族命运,为家国叙事论题延伸出性别思考与文化认同的面向,不仅揭示了战后台湾知识分子集体性的身份认同危机,更推动了中华民族主义思想在台湾乃至世界的传播。

Research on identity,difference theory,and the politics of recognition is still a hot issue in today’s academia.The writing about national narrative and cultural identity in Taiwan female novels in the 1950s and 1960s has two important aspects:one is the“nostalgic literature”writing that reshaped the homeland in the 1950s;the other is the rootless and wandering writing in the 1960s.The creation of“students’literature”on the aesthetic theme.These texts about individuals and libido’s forces reflect the turbulent fate of the nation in the form of national fables,extend gender thinking and cultural identity to the narrative topic of the family and country,and reveal the collective identity crisis of the scholars in post-war Taiwan and further promoted the spread of Chinese nationalism in Taiwan and the world.
