Colleges and universities shoulder the important mission of inheriting and innovating local culture.Local culture contains rich educational resources,which is of great significance for enhancing students'cultural confidence,cultivating students'correct value orientation and improving the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The integration of local culture into ideological and political education in colleges and universities should follow the principles of orientation,authenticity,practicality and mutual integration,so as to achieve better educational effect.Giving full play to the media communication platform and its advantages,constructing the ideological and political theory course which integrates the local cultural resources,carrying out the practice education with the local cultural characteristics,creating a new platform with three-dimensional local culture education,and building the campus environment with local cultural atmosphere are the feasible paths of integrating local culture with ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
