Professor JIANG Liangduo′s Experience in Treating Pulmonary Nodules by Keeping Unobstructed State and Dealing with Toxin

总结姜良铎教授从通从毒论治肺结节的临床经验。认为肺结节属正虚气滞湿阻,痰瘀毒邪郁滞,局部积聚造成"不通"状态而成,"从通从毒论治"肺结节,是消除肺结节、抑制结节化毒癌变的有效方法。凡通调首先注重理气,一方面调畅胸中气机,另一方面疏解肝气、复肝疏泄之性,人体气机条畅,方能津液流通不滞,血行通畅;其次亦重视扶正补虚,尤应侧重补肺、肾、脾三脏;再次加强利湿化痰祛浊,活血散瘀,配以搜剔性强、通利经络的药物以通络散结,消除积聚。肺结节之解毒化积,常配以清热解毒化湿中药,其具有较强的抑毒散结的作用。

This paper summarized professor JIANG Liangduo′s experience in treating pulmonary nodules by keeeping unobstructed state and dealing with toxin. He believes that pulmonary nodules are caused by healthy qi deficiency, qi stagnation and dampness obstruction, resulting in phlegm stasis, toxin constraint;the local accumulations lead to the "obstructed state". Therefore, the method of "keeping unobstructed state and dealing with the toxins" is one of the effective ways to eliminate pulmonary nodules and to prevent nodules from transforming toxins and cancers. To keep the unobstructed state, firstly, attention should be paid to rectify qi both in the chest and of the liver to restore the liver′s function of governing the free flow of qi);when there is no obstruction of qi movement, the body fluids are not constraint, and the blood circulates smoothly. Secondly, it should be focused on to reinforce healthy qi and supplement qi deficiency, especially in the lung, kidney and spleen. Thirdly, it is suggested to drain dampness, dissolve phlegm and dispel turbid, and to invigorate blood and dissolve stasis. Meanwhile, the herbal medicine which has strong searching and expelling function, and can unblock the meridians and collaterals are used, so as to unblock collaterals, dissipate masses, and eliminate the accumulations and gatherings. When relieving the toxins and remove accumulation of pulmonary nodules, herbal medicine of heat-clearing,toxin-relieving and dampness-removing are often used, which have strong effects of suppressing toxins and dissipating masses.
