Mission of the University In the New Era

使命是指重大的职责和任务,大学使命就是“大学培养什么样的人”的具体体现和外在形式。新时代,中国大学具有重大使命:培养具有优良的思想政治素质、健全的人格、深厚的文化涵养、独立创新的科学精神的大学生。为完成这一使命,大学需要创建全方位育人环境,建设有温度的大学校园,整合科学精神与人文精神。

Mission refers to major responsibilities and tasks.The mission of a university is the concrete embodiment and external form of“what kind of people should university develop”.In a new era,it is the mission of Chinese universities to cultivate students of good ideological and political quality,a sound personality,a profound cultural understanding,and independent and innovative scientific spirit.To fulfill this mission,the university should create an all-rounded education environment,construct a campus with humanistic atmosphere,and integrate scientific and humanistic spirit.
