Experience of LI Chuanfen Who has Differentiated and Treated Acute Cough of Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infections in Children

LI Chuanfen has rich experience in treating respiratory diseases.She thinks the main pathogenesis characteristic of acute cough in recurrent respiratory tract infections in children(RRTIs)is combination of internal and external evil which has different forms.There are five common types including cold due to deficiency in origin,cold due to exterior deficiency,external evil induce phlegm and fluid retention,exopathy due to accumulation of food,and external evil induce interior heat.Because of the complex pathogenesis and different symptoms,we should consider internal and external evil,treat it based on syndrome differentiation,use the medication flexibly to achieve satisfactory curative effect.
