Reflections and Suggestions on Establishing Demonstration Area of National Unity and Progress in Ningxia

民族团结进步示范区建设是推进我国民族团结进步事业的一个重要平台,是铸牢中华民族共同体意识,实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的现实需要。中国共产党宁夏回族自治区第十二次代表大会提出,要将宁夏创建成全国民族团结进步示范区,对宁夏民族团结进步创建工作提出了更高的要求。推进宁夏创建全国民族团结进步示范区工作,要明确示范区创建的概念,紧紧围绕铸牢中华民族共同体意识这条工作主线,尊重地区实际情况,认真分析宁夏创建全国民族团结进步示范区的历史、现实、经验基础,以及创建中面临的挑战和现实问题,探求适合宁夏实际的创建路径和模式。

The construction of national unity demonstration area is an important platform to promote the cause of national unity and progress in China,and also the realistic need to forge a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation and realize the Chinese dream of great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The 12 th Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed that Ningxia should be built into a demonstration area of national ethnic unity and progress,which put forward higher requirements for the creation of ethnic unity and progress in Ningxia.The work to promote Ningxia to create national unity progress demonstration requires a clear concept of demonstration area to create,a focus on building a sense of community among the Chinese nation,the respect for the actual situation of the area,and a careful analysis of history,reality,and experience in Ningxia’s creation of national unity progress demonstration area,and the challenge and practical problems in the creation so as to explore the establishment path and mode suitable for Ningxia’s reality.
