This paper discusses the clinical experience and characteristics of treatment on palpitations in YANG Shi-ying’s Renzhai Zhizhifang. YANG believes that the onset of palpitations is in the heart, and the first treatment focuses on Qi and blood, and the phlegm and drink. His prescription is based on the classical prescription to fix the root and seek the source. The prescription has obvious characteristics of medication,especially heavy medicinal properties, and he prefers to use calming drugs, forming unique therapeutic characteristics,which has inheritance and innovation.
