Anxiety Sources and Coping Strategies of Foreign Languages-only Teachers in Cross-cultural Teaching

使用全外语进行中外跨文化教学过程中,高校教师面临授课内容选择的困惑、教学方法选择的难题、全外语授课的语言挑战、师生关系理解与处理的困难,以及现代社会和教育模式的综合挑战,容易产生各种焦虑。对此,应从应对与革新两方面采取相应策略,不断提高克服焦虑的能力。

In the process of foreign languages-only for cross-cultural teaching at home and abroad, college teachers are prone to various anxiety due to the confusion of teaching content selection, the difficulty of teaching method selection, the language challenge of foreign languages-only teaching, the difficulty of understanding and handling the relationship between teachers and students, and the comprehensive challenge of modern society and educational model. Therefore, we should take corresponding strategies from the two aspects of coping and innovation to continuously improve the ability to overcome anxiety.
