The railway marshalling station of Guixi Smelter mainly provides transportation support for the production materials of the factory. There are more than 400 trains and vehicles enter and leave every day on average. In the past, the input of train number information and other data were communicated and transferred between the train number clerk and the road side through telephone, and then the relevant information was recorded manually. The attendant then arranges the follow-up shunting operation according to the train number information.Due to the large workload, the error rate of train number information input is also high, which directly affects the preparation of dispatching operation plan by the attendants, and even railway freight accidents where empty cars are used as heavy cars and heavy cars are shipped as empty cars. Therefore, the accuracy of train number information entry is self-evident to the safety of the railway freight system. In order to solve this problem,Guixi Smelter Special Railway has introduced the AEI-W2 automatic identification system of train number.According to the structural characteristics and working principle of the AEI-W2 automatic identification system, and combined with the actual situation, the application of the AEI-W2 type automatic identification system in railway marshalling stations has been continuously optimized, and the problems arising in theapplication process have been collected, analyzed and summarized.
