"Pocket" ideology and politics is a new form of "Internet+ ideological and political education". Taking School of Traffic Engineering of Jiangsu Shipping College as an example, this paper expounds the goal orientation of "pocket" ideological and political education mode in the initial exploration stage, and the brand characteristics of "pocket" ideological and political education and the deep development of "pocket" ideological and political education mode.
