摘要
为满足关于建立长江流域水生态考核机制的国家需求,文章构建了水生动物种类指数。该指数以鱼类和底栖动物等动物的种数和重要类群的资源量为评价参数,以同类水体可达的最高水平或评价元年数据为参照。与多参数指数和预测模型等常用的生态健康评价方法相比,水生动物种类指数法有简单易行的特点,便于全面推广应用。
In this paper,we construct a simple but reliable ecosystem health indicator:Aquatic Animal Species Index(AASI).The assessment parameters are species numbers(S_(O))of fish,benthos,etc.,and resource measures(R_(O))of important groups;the reference values(S_(I),R_(I))are the highest achievable levels of allied water bodies or those of the first year of assessment.AASI of one group(SS_(O/I))equals WS SO/I+WR RO/I,where S_(O/I) is Species Number Index,R_(O/I) is Resource Index,WS&WR are the weight,i.e.,0.7,0.3,respectively.AASI of several groups(ΣSS_(O/I))is calculated as the mean of SS_(O/I).If reference values are those of the first year of assessment,the health assessment is based upon index increments,and the highest levels can be ascertained after monitoring for many years.Using benthos data of lakes along the Yangtze River and the mainstem,we demonstrate the effectiveness of AASI.Compared with multi-metric indices and RIVPACS-type models,the AASI method is simpler and easier,so can be applied widely.
