The integration and innovation of the fifth generation mobile communication technology(5 G)and artificial intelligence(AI)has become an inevitable trend.According to 1772 research literature retrieved from CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure),this paper uses bibliometrics and CiteSpace to draw knowledge maps to systematically analyze the research trends of Chinese scholars on the integration and development of 5 G and AI.We found that domestic related publication have maintained a growing trend since 2015,and research activities have gone through three stages of development:"emerging","rapid evolution"and"deepening application".Related publications not only come from research institutions of science and technology, but also from institutions of social science, media, and business.Related literature can be classified into 11 research directions under the three perspectives technology, application and major events. In addition, most institutions conduct research independently without cooperation, while many small and medium-sized cooperation networks have been established among scholars.Based on the analysis, this paper puts forward three suggestions.
