Brief Discussion on China’s Modern Interior Design and Development

提起建筑行业,古今中外人们耳熟能详的设计师多是建筑设计师,国内如雷贯耳的建筑师梁思成、刘敦桢、贝聿铭、何镜堂均是以其标志性的建筑而闻名于世。对于室内设计来说却鲜有出名者,室内就像是建筑设计流程中一颗遗珠。但现实是人们对于一栋建筑最深的印象,除了令人震撼的外立面,更多的其实是人们在其进入这栋建筑之后所发生的事,室内的空间与环境记录了这些故事,从而停留在了人们的记忆中。

Regarding the construction industry,most of the well-known designers at home and abroad are architects.Famous domestic architects such as Liang Si-cheng,Liu Dun-zhen,Bei Lvming,and He Jing-tang are all famous for their iconic buildings.For interior design,there are few famous architects.The interior design is like a forgotten bead in the architectural design process.But the reality is that people have the deepest impression of a building,due to what happened after people enter the building,in addition to the shocking facade.The interior space and environment record these stories,and thus stay in people’s memory.
