Persist in and Improve the System of People’s Congress in China,Realize and Develop the Whole-Process People’s Democracy

人民代表大会制度作为我国的根本政治制度,承载着我们党的初心和使命。习近平总书记提出全过程人民民主的重大理念,强调人民代表大会制度是实现我国全过程人民民主的重要制度载体。本文着重从全国人大及其常委会行使职权、开展工作的角度,对坚持和完善人民代表大会制度、实现和发展全过程人民民主等作了梳理论述。

As the fundamental political system of our country,the people's congress system carries the original aspiration and mission of our party.General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the major concept of the whole-process of people's democracy and emphasized that the people's congress system is an important institutional carrier for realizing the whole-process of people's democracy in our country.This article focuses on the perspectives of the National People's Congress and its Standing Committee's exercise of powers and work,and provides the theoretical review of upholding and improving the system of people's congresses,as well as realizing and developing people's democracy throughout the whole-process.
