Study and Some Reflectionson the Population of Shanghai Metropolitan Area in the Context of the“14th Five-Year”Plan

上海大都市圈人口增量显著、常住人口城镇化率持续提升、受教育程度人口大幅增加,但也面临劳动力人口供给短缺、人口老龄化等问题,上海大都市圈人口发展进入了深度转型期。作为现代化都市圈建设的典型区域,上海大都市圈应依托都市圈层面的统一规划、实施及管理,逐步形成长效的人口发展政策及管理机制,实现人口高质量、高层次的集聚与优化目标,为全国各大都市圈人口发展提供实践经验。

The Shanghai metropolitan area has experienced significant population growth,a continuous increase in the urbanization rate of the resident population,and a significant increase in the educated population,but also faces problems such as shortage of labor force supply and aging,and the population development of the Shanghai metropolitan area has entered a period of deep transition.As a typical region of modernized metropolitan area construction,Shanghai metropolitan area should rely on the unified planning,implementation and management at the metropolitan area level,and gradually form a long-term population development policy and management mechanism,so as to achieve the goal of high-quality and high-level population concentration and optimization,and provide practical experience for the population development of all metropolitan areas in China.
