Yongxian 641 is a new early maturing indica rice variety bred by Ningbo City Academy of Agricultural Sciences.The whole growth period was 109.9 days,Which was 2.6 days shorter than Zhongzao 39.It had the characteristics of early ripening,short plant height,strong tillering and high seed setting rate.This paper mainly introduced the application prospect of early maturing and early indica rice,the breeding process,characteristics and key cultivation techniques of Yongxian 641.
