The Connotation,Formation and Historical Evolution of the Cultural Community of the Chinese Nation

中华民族文化共同体在复杂多变的国际竞争、全面建设社会主义现代化强国中的地位和作用日益重要。它是在“和而不同”文化机制的作用下由中华诸族在特定时空下共同创造的以各种承载历史记忆和集体意识的文化符号为表征,以各种蕴含价值观念、思维方式等的文化基因为内核的具有中华精神气质的共同体。在其形成的过程中,文化生成机制、文化竞争与调适机制以及结构化机制发挥着重要作用。鸦片战争以前,中华民族文化共同体始终深蕴着一种执著的本位精神,虽然曾经多次受到游牧文化、海洋—工商业文化的冲击,但是并未造成双向性的优化组合。鸦片战争以后,中华民族文化共同体逐步走上民族的、科学的、大众的轨道,从而实现了自身的蜕变和新生。

The status and role of the Chinese national cultural community are becoming more and more important in the complex and changeable international competition and in the comprehensive construction of a modern socialist country.It is a community with Chinese spirit and temperament,represented by various cultural symbols bearing historical memory and collective consciousness,and with various cultural genes containing values and ways of thinking as the core,created jointly by all ethnic groups of China in a specific time and space under the action of the cultural mechanism of“harmony without uniformity”.In the process of its formation,cultural generation mechanism,cultural competition and adjustment mechanism and structural mechanism played an important role.Before the Opium War,the Cultural community of the Chinese nation had always been deeply rooted in a persistent standard spirit.Although it had been repeatedly impacted by nomadic culture,ocean-industrial and commercial culture,it had not resulted in a bi-directional optimal combination.After the Opium War,the Cultural community of the Chinese nation gradually embarked on the national,scientific and mass track,thus realized its own transformation and rebirth.
