“政治等效”视阈下政治文本中成语英译研究

A Study on C-E Translation of Idioms in Political Texts from the Perspective of Political Equivalence

翻译关涉语域转化与迁移,成语的文学文化性及文本的政治敏感性决定翻译的特殊性,有必要对相关翻译现象、意象、取向进行梳理。本研究以“政治等效”原则为理论视点,对成语的角色、译法及“翻译共性”问题进行了探讨,尝试透过个案分析,厘清翻译路向。结果表明,译者应因时因势因地制宜,采用字面译、意译、缩译、合译等微观手段,确保“语域守恒”。

Translation involves register transformation or transplantation.The literary and cultural nature of idioms and the political sensitivity of the text determine the particularity of translation.It is necessary to sort out relevant translation phenomenon,images and orientation.Based on the principle of political equivalence,this paper studies the role,translation of idioms and the problems of translation commonness.It tries to clarify the translation direction through case analysis.The results show that translators should be flexible and adopt micro methods such as literal translation,paraphrase,condensed translation and integration translation so as to keep the register unchanged.
