Cultural Concept and Technological Changes:Evolution and Transformation of the Myth of Chang’e

嫦娥神话自产生以来,人物形象及主题、情节处于不断变化中。其变化过程与历史叙事、地理景观、民俗、传播媒介等因素紧密相关。文章通过对嫦娥神话的溯源及其文本流变的梳理,阐述了中国古代历法、占卜、道教、儒家伦理等文化思想与女性解放、现代民族国家观念等对嫦娥神话主题、嫦娥形象、故事情节的建构,同时关注技术发展引发的传播媒介变革在神话资源转化中的特殊意义。

Since the myth of Chang’e appeared,its mythological characters,themes and plots have been constantly changing,which is closely related to historical narrative,geographical landscape,folk custom,media and other factors.Through tracing the origin of the myth of Chang’e and combing its textual change,this paper analyzes the ancient Chinese calendar,divination,Taoism,Confucian ethics and other cultural ideas.Also it explores women’s liberation,modern nation-state concepts,which constructs the theme,image and plot of the myth of Chang’e.Moreover,this article pays attention to the special significance of the transformation of the media caused by technological development in the transformation of mythological resources.
