On the Deep Mechanism of Novel Structure

凡小说皆有结构,凡结构皆有一定机制。小说结构具有因果机制、矛盾机制、心理机制等深层机制。因果机制、矛盾机制体现在创作客体即文本中的内在逻辑和对立统一关系上;心理机制则体现在创作主体的主观世界中,诸如模仿、创新、想象、联想、审美、情感等。研究小说结构机制是小说结构学的题中要义,它不仅可以在理论上进一步加深对小说结构的认知,推动小说结构学的发展,而且有助于小说的创作实践。

Every novel has a structure,and every structure has a certain mechanism.Novel structure has deep mechanism of such as causality,contradiction,psychology.Causality mechanism and contradiction mechanism are embodied in the internal logic and unity of opposites of the creation object namely text;the psychology mechanism is embodied in the subjective world of the creation subject,such as Imitation,innovation,imagination,association,aesthetics,emotion.The research on novel structure mechanism is of significance which deepens the knowledge and study of novel structure in theory but also contributes to the practice of novel creation.
