Objective To investigate the relationship between job stress, resilience and generalized anxiety disorder(Gad),and whether resilience mediates between job stress and generalized anxiety disorder(Gad). Methods Using a convenient sampling method,310 nurses from several hospitals in Weifang and Jining were selected for the study,a self-designed questionnaire,Chinese nurse job stressor scale(NJSI),Chinese version of resilience scale(CD-RISC-C)and generalized anxiety scale(GAD-7)were used to analyze the correlation and mediating effect. Results Pearson Correlation Analysis showed that each dimension of resilience was negatively correlated with the total score of work stressors and all dimensions(P<0.05),and negatively correlated with generalized anxiety(P<0.05).There was a significant positive correlation between the total score of nurses'stressors and their general anxiety(P<0.05).Mediating effect analysis showed that there was a partial mediating effect between nurses'job stress and generalized anxiety, and the mediating effect accounted for 15.8%of the total effect. Conclusion Mental resilience was negatively correlated with job stressors and generalized anxiety of nurses. As an intermediary variable, mental resilience indirectly affected the relationship between job stress and generalized anxiety of nurses.
