摘要
玫瑰痤疮是一种常见的慢性、炎症性面部皮肤病,临床特征包括面部隆突部位皮肤阵发性潮红、持续性红斑、毛细血管扩张、丘疹、脓疱等症状,其中红斑毛细血管扩张型玫瑰痤疮目前仍缺乏特别有效的治疗方案。肉毒毒素是由肉毒杆菌产生的神经毒素,通过抑制乙酰胆碱及某些神经递质的释放,广泛应用于各种神经肌肉性疾病及医学美容等领域。近期的临床实践提示肉毒毒素微量皮内注射可有效改善皮肤潮红及持久性红斑,作用机制尚不完全明确。该文对肉毒毒素微滴注射治疗玫瑰痤疮的作用机制和临床研究进展进行综述。
Rosacea is a common chronic inflammatory disorder affecting the convexities of the central face, characterized by facial flushing, persistent erythema, telangiectasia and papulopustules. Erythematotelangiectatic rosacea has particularly limited effective treatment options. Botulinum toxin(BTX) is a neurotoxin produced by the Clostridium botulinum, which inhibits the release of acetylcholine(ACh) and some neuropeptides whose effects has been used to treat various neuromuscular conditions and also for cosmetic use. Current clinical researches have shown that intradermal injection of botulinum toxin can effectively improve facial flushing and persistent erythema, but the exact mechanism underlying those results is not completely understood. In this paper, the possible mechanism of botulinum toxin in the treatment of rosacea and the related clinical studies are reviewed.
