试论莫友芝书法四气

On the Four Qi of Mo Youzhi′s Calligraphy

《清史稿·文苑传·莫友芝传》评价莫氏书法“真行篆隶书不类唐以后人,世争宝贵。”莫友芝是清代有名的书法家之一。文章从美学角度研究论证莫氏独树一帜的书法艺术作品具有书卷气、碑石气、阳刚气、法帖气;希冀习书者学习效摹莫氏书法艺术作品,亦能受其书法四气熏陶,善于师古而不泥于古,既贵神似名家而更贵自我创新,最终成为有修养、有风格、有作为的中国书法艺术传承者。

Biography of Mo Youzhi in Qing history manuscriptdescribed MoYouzhi′scalligraphy having his unique characteristics.Mo Youzhi was one of the top ten calligraphers of the Qing Dynasty.This paper examines the aesthetic argument that Mo′s unique calligraphic artwork has a quality of bookish,inscriptional,masculinity and copybook.It is hoped that those who learn calligraphy will follow Mo′s example and imitate his work of art,but also be imbued with"the four"calligraphic temperaments,be good at but not stuck in learning,imitate like the famous calligraphers but also value self-innovation,and eventually become the cultivated,stylized and effective inheritors of the art of Chinese Calligraphy.
