The 20th Anniversary of China’s Accession to the WTO:Actions,Benefits,Challenges and Responses

从1986年到2001年,中国经历了复关到入世的艰辛和漫长的谈判,2001年12月11日,中国正式加入世界贸易组织(WTO),成为第143个成员。入世标志着我国改革开放进入历史新阶段,是我国近代史上具有历史意义的大事,具有里程碑的意义。文章在回顾入世20年历程基础上,总结了我国入世后作为及产生的巨大效益,分析了入世20年后面临的挑战,并提出了我国的对策。

China experienced arduous and long negotiations from the resumption of GATT’s membership to China’s accession to the WTO from1986 to2001.China formally joined the World Trade Organization(WTO)and became its143 rd member on December11,2001.China’s entry into WTO marks a new historical stage of China’s reform and opening up.It is a major event of historical significance and a milestone in China’s modern history.On the basis of reviewing the course of China’s entry into WTO for20 years,this paper summarizes China’s actions and great benefits after China’s entry into WTO,analyzes the challenges facing China after entering into WTO for20 years,and puts forward China’s countermeasures.
