As early as 2013,researchers confirmed that intestinal bacteria can improve the effect of some anticancer drugs by activating the immune system.They found that the chemotherapeutic drug cyclophosphamide can destroy the mucus layer of the intestine.Some intestinal bacteria enter the lymph nodes and spleen,thereby activating specific immune cells to exert anti-cancer effects.
